Ruffino’s Restaurant

With locations in Baton Rouge and Lafayette as well as an event space and full service catering company, Ruffino’s is a Steak, Seafood and Italian inspired restaurant that focuses on the Celebration of Life, regardless of the occasion. Ruffino’s has been deeply embedded in the communities it’s served for over 25 years, focusing on innovation, excellence in service, and raising the bar.

I have been working with Ruffino’s on their graphics since 2023, including social media graphics, promotional material, videography, menus, gift cards, and more. I have developed collateral material for several of their campaigns over the years as well as became an active part of their content capture strategy through photography, videography, and editing.

As a B2C business in the hospitality sector, Ruffino’s primary means of advertising is through social media. I have overseen the planning of Ruffino’s social media content for all 3 of their accounts (Lafayette location, Baton Rouge location, and De La Ronde Hall Catering location) from concept to development by working with copywriters, Creative Directors, and social media specialists.

Holiday Campaigns

Ruffino’s sees substantial increase in sales around the holiday season from their gift card sales and holiday party bookings. In response to this trend, I developed a Holiday campaign in order to drive sales in that season to promote their Black Friday gift card special, as well as Holiday party booking through a series of print ads and in restaurant deliverables, email campaigns, and social media posts. The result was a continued increase in gift card sales and holiday party bookings, filling their reservations through after the new year of 2025.

Restaurant Events

Ruffino’s Cooking Experiences are immersive, chef-led events where guests can enjoy hands-on lessons in crafting signature dishes and cocktails while savoring the restaurant’s hallmark Louisiana-Italian flavors. Designed to embody the brand’s philosophy of “Celebrating Life,” these experiences blend culinary education with entertainment, encouraging laughter, learning, and connection around the table. Each event is promoted with it’s own unique themed digital collateral on social media platforms and via email. Every participant also receives a menu and cookbook to take home at the end of the night.

Ruffino’s also promotes limited time menu deals several times a year with a variety of collateral, including digital ads and social posts, menus, and email campaigns. At their Baton Rouge location, Ruffino’s hosts an annual kick off dinner to celebrate the beginning of LSU’s football season.
