Healing House

Healing House is a non-profit agency helping children ages 4 – 17 who are anticipating or have experienced the death of a family member or other important person in their lives. The organization provides a welcoming and comfortable group atmosphere where children can express their thoughts and feelings – and they can do so in the company of other children who are going through the same difficult experiences.

Since 2023, I’ve had the pleasure of developing the identity and relevant collateral for Healing House’s fundraising initiatives, including their Martini’s Gala and Family Adventure Day.

Martinis Fundraiser

Martini’s is a community-driven event brand in Lafayette that hosts an annual “Best Martini Competition & Gala,” bringing together local restaurants to compete in crafting signature martinis while raising funds for Healing House. They also run related promotions like a “Tito’s Tini Tuesday Tour,” in which participating venues showcase special martinis over multiple weeks. Their efforts help support non-profit services for grieving children in the Lafayette community.

Since 2024, I have developed the unique campaign identity for the year as well as the print and digital collateral for this fundraiser, including social media posts, channel graphics, print posters and flyers, in-restaurant signage, and promotional mailers. I also took the pictures for each restaurant’s featured martini post.

Family Adventure Day

Family Adventure Day is a fundraising event organized by Healing House that encourages families to explore Lafayette via an “adventure map” populated with more than 35–40 local locations offering free activities. Participants must complete a certain number of these mini-adventures in one day to qualify for prizes. The registration fee (around $120–$160) supports the services offered by Healing House, which provides grief support and education for children and families in the Acadiana region.
